Job Fair and graduation ceremony for private sector’s semi-professional jobseekers and staff in West Zone was launched in Mowlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi hall yesterday.
The Job Fair was inaugurated by Herat Governor, Mr. Mohammad Asef Rahimi and Herat vice-governor, Mr. Asiluddin Jami with the presence of Heads of public and private sectors, local, national and international organizations participating the fair.
The purpose of launching this exhibition was to create job opportunities for job seekers and organize a direct communication between them and the hiring companies.
80 booths -exhibiting industrial activities, handy-crafts and services of the private and public institutions- participated in the Job Fair.
Help Employment Service Center (ESC) participated in this exhibition and introduced its services to the visitors and job seekers in the fair.
Afghanistan Workforce Department Program (AWDP) has been the organizer of the fair with the funding from USAID.
The Job Fair was open to the public for 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday, 16 to 17 June 2015), from 9 PM to 4 PM. It was warmly and widely welcomed by many job seekers and people in Herat.
